Combustible Dust

Combustible dust is an Allied specialty.  We have almost 50 years’ experience working with combustible dust in lumber processing, agri-bulk, biomass, mining, and manufacturing operations.  Combustible dust is a potential hazard in wood processing, biomass, agri-bulk and manufacturing operations.  Combustible dust solutions require a system-wide perspective with experience and expertise in working with NFPA Sections 68, 69, 77, 91, 499, 654 & 644.  Allied Blower provides the following approach to dealing with combustible dust:

• Combustible dust study/assessment to develop a base-line
• NFPA compliant system designs
• NFPA compliant equipment
• NFPA compliant installation
• NFPA compliant start-up and turn-over
• NFPA compliant documentation and maintenance plan

Allied also manufactures the following components which are critical to NFPA compliance:

• NFPA/ATEX Compliant Back blast dampers (36″ to 50″)
• NFPA Compliant close tolerance steel-tip feeders (variety of sizes_
• High-speed abort gates
• Explosion vents for Allied baghouses and cyclones
• all Allied ductwork, equipment and dust collectors are designed with a serviceable Pred and are welded by CWB certified welders in our CWB certified shops
