Gas cleaning systems for various industrial processes consists of collection hoods, ducting and gas cleaning devices. Allied supplies complete systems including gas collection hoods (such as press hoods used for exhaust gas collection from large hot presses in the panel industry), booths and process ducting. In addition, we supply various gas cleaning technologies suitable for the application, including: wet scrubbers, thermal oxidizers, wet electrostatic precipitators, adsorption and catalytic gas treatment processes.
Thermal Oxidizers
Catalytic Thermal Oxidizers (CTO) and Regenerative Thermal Oxidizers (RTO) are efficient ways to thermally treat pollutants and volatile organic compounds (VOC). Single valve RTO technology developed by Eisenmann in the 1990’s offers 100% uptime with energy efficiency and guaranteed cleaning results.
Adsorption Wheels
When air volume is large and pollutant consistency low, the adsorption wheel by Eisenmann can be used to concentrate the pollutant up to 30 times to reduce the size of the cleaning device. In applications with high-value solvents, recovery from concentrated gas flow offers a money saving alternative to oxidation.
Electrostatic Precipitators
Wet electrostatic precipitator (WESP) systems are recognized as the most reliable devices for removal of sub-micron sized solid particles and liquid droplets form the gas stream. The down-flow/up-flow WESP-2F by Eisenmann is the most efficient and reliable WESP when dealing with heavy loading of solid and sticky particles and eliminating carry over of fine mist and droplets.
For flue gas cleaning for wood burning combustion systems Allied co-operates with Southern Environmental (SEI) to supply and install dry precipitator (ESP) systems.
Catalytic Gas Treatment (CGT)
Catalytic Gas Treatment (CGT) is a newly developed, cost efficient method for treating VOCs such as formaldehyde. This process introduced in 2002 by PROCD Technologies uses hydrogen peroxide which has been catalyzed and activated by a catalytic complex to reach an emission reduction over 95% of formaldehyde and 98% of particulates.
